Movement Wellness Wellness Aging In Place Caregivers And One More Thing
Senior Fitness
Here is a YouTube video featuring daily stretches for senior citizens. Devoting ten minutes each morning can have a significant impact on each day and our overall health and wellness. Give it a try for two weeks and see if you can see the impact it has on you.

Chronic Inflammation
Very Well Health explains the difference between chronic and acute inflammation, lists 11 symptoms of chronic inflammation symptoms and their causes and how to address them. A preventive mindset is important here to help us ward off these symptoms and the resulting problems they can cause for us.

Metabolic Syndrome
As we discussed above with Inflammation, Metabolic Syndrome is another area that is the source of many of our illnesses and diseases as we age and an attitude and mindset of prevention is important here also. We will continue to highlight both of these issues in future issues.

Aging In Place
From the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, an article titled “The Value of Aging in Place”. Valuable information and incentive to do what we can to stay healthy so we can age in place.

Caregivers
The National Institute on Aging has several links to articles that can help our caregivers take care of their loved ones and themselves as well. This is a critical component of the ability of our loved ones to age in place and stay in their homes while assuring the caregiver cam maintain their health and lifestyle as well.
