And One More Thing.
To follow up on our article from last week by Johanna Diamond of React Physical Therapy, here is a link to a variety of walking groups in the Chicago area that are listed on Meetup.com. If you are a Facebook subscriber, you can also search there under “walking groups” for more options. If you are outside the Chicago area, search the same in either app for your area.
There are many benefits to belonging to a walking group, including your physical health, mental health, making new social connections and being exposed to nature as well. There are many options. See if one is a fit for you and give it a try!
